Thailand’s King Marries Bodyguard, Names Her Queen

Thailand King Maha Vajiralongkorn has married a previous airline attendant turned royal guard in an unexpected ceremony and assigned her Queen Suthida, only days before his own crowning liturgy.

The lord’s new lady of the hour was in the past the appointee leader of his own security detail, the Guardian revealed.

Vajiralongkorn, 66, also known by the title King Rama X, became ruler after the passing of his respected dad, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, in October 2016. Bhumibol had ruled for70 years.

In 2014, Vajiralongkorn selected Suthida Tidjai, a previous airline attendant for Thai Airways, as an agent leader of his guardian unit.

Some regal onlookers and outside media had connected Suthida impractically with the lord, however, the royal residence had beforehand never recognized any relationship.

The lord made Suthida a full general in the military in December 2016.
Vajiralongkorn has previously been married and divorced three times and has seven children.
