PCB offers Srilanka to have Test Series in Pakistan

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has offered Cricket Sri Lanka (SLC) for a two-match Test series at venues Karachi and Lahore. The offer was stretched out by top-most PCB authorities – Chairman Ehsan Mani and Managing Director Wasim Khan.

The PCB has also offered authorities of the Sri Lankan board to assess the security arrangements before series if required. PCB also reported that they were waiting for the response from the Srilanka Cricket Board.

The PCB, in recent years, has worked immensely to bring International cricket back in the country. The smooth running of the PSL in the country from the last couple of years have brought a little trust of the Cricket community towards Pakistan.

It was in March 2009 when the visiting Sri Lankan group was assaulted by shooters on their way to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on the third morning of the second of the two Tests. That assault adequately put worldwide cricket on the stop in the nation.
