According to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling, Pakistan has agreed to grant consular access to Kulbushan Jhadav under the light of Pakistani laws.
This statement comes a day after the International Court of Justice urged Pakistan to grant consular access to Kulbushan Jhadav.
Now, Mr. Jadhav will now be allowed to get in touch with the diplomats and officials from India.
Pursuant to the decision of the ICJ, Kulbushan Jadhav has been informed of his rights under article 36, Paragraph 1 (b) of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.
India had made several requests to Pakistan diplomats for allowing Indian officials to visit Kulbushan Jhadav. But Pakistan had been turning it down till ICJ verdict.
