MS Dhoni to be deployed in Kashmir Valley as part of Victor Force

MS Dhoni will be deployed in the Kashmir valley as part of the victor Force. The Wicket-keeper will stay in the valley with the troops and will take on the duties of Patrolling, guard and post duty.

Dhoni will ream,i8n with the Battalion from July 31-August 15.

Earlier, Dhoni had taken a two-month break from cricket to serve his regiment. Dhoni opted out from the West Indies series which is scheduled from August 3.

India will be playing three T20Is, three ODIs and two Test matches beginning August 3.

The 38-year-old holds the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army unit of the Parachute Regiment (106 Para TA battalion).

In 2015, Dhoni became a qualified paratrooper after having completed five parachute training jumps from Indian Army aircraft in the Agra training camp.
