India vs Srilanka ICC Cricket World Cup: Here Is What India Should Focus On Going Forward To Semis

India is already placed 2nd in the points table of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. They have already achieved the semi-final spot after winning last match against Banladesh.

In the 44th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup, India will be up against Sri-lanka on July 6. As all four semi-final spots are filled, Sri-lanka would be playing their last game for pride and will look to finish on a high note.

For India, a win against Sri Lanka can take India to the top of the points table provided Australia lose their final game against the already ousted South Africa.

A wobbly middle order has been a cause of concern for India despite the winning run

India would be desperate for the likes of Mahendra Singh Dhoni to find some form ahead of the semifinal when they take on Sri Lanka in their last preliminary World Cup clash on Saturday.

Dhoni has managed only 47 runs in 81 balls against the spinners till now, this weakness against the slower bowlers during middle overs is a concern for India.

India would not take Sri-Lanka lightly as they managed to beat tournament favorites England in a low scoring encounter.

It will be handy if India gets to the top of the table. Table topper will play dented New Zealand in the semifinal. New Zealand has lost all the last three matches quite badly. It will easy to beat them.
