Pakistan’s qualification into the semis is highly dependent on a high voltage game between New Zealand and England on July 3.

For the easy entry into the semis, Pakistan needs England to lose against New Zealand and win their own game against Bangladesh.

If England wins against New Zealand, New Zealand will remain on 11 points in 9 games. Pakistan has 9 points in 8 games, win against Bangladesh will give Pakistan 11 points in 9 games. In this case, Pakistan needs to better their run rate and make it better than New Zealand’s.
