China delivers first overhauled JF-17 fighter jet to Pakistan

In a noteworthy lift for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), China has delivered the first overhauled multi-job JF-17 fighter jet to Islamabad as a major aspect of a venture attempted by the two nations over 10 years back for the improvement and assembling of the flying machine.

China and Pakistan had started joint development and manufacture of the single-engine light JF-17 jets over 10 years back. Beijing had delivered the first bunch in 2007.

After a decade of use, it was the time for the first JF-17s to experience upgrades, the report cited military investigators as saying, including that the primary redesign began in November 2017 after an agreement was marked between the different sides in 2016.
