Case Filed Against Islamabad Police official For Negligence In Farishta Case

According to reports, there was big negligence in Farishta case following which the victim’s father has filed a case against Station House Officer (SHO)

Ghulam Nabi, the unfortunate father of Farishta, filed First Information Report against a police officer at the Shahzad Town police headquarters on Wednesday under Section 166 of Pakistan Panel Code.

Nabi expressed in the FIR that the victim’s family had moved toward police on various occasions for assistance in finding Farishta, and to enlist an FIR against her disappearance, but rather than helping in finding the missing girl, the SHO revealed to them she must have fled with somebody.

The father called for action to be taken against the SHO and other officials involved on grounds of negligence.

Farishta had disappeared from outside her home in Shahzad Town on May 15. A four-day-old body recuperated on Monday evening (May 20) was recognized as that of Farishta by her dad, who recognized her by her clothes.

Medical examinations revealed that minor had been gang raped, following which she was killed.
