15 Died In Srilanka In Gunfight With Suspected Militants

The dead bodies of 15 individuals, including six kids, was found at the site of overnight gunfight fight on the east shoreline of Sri Lanka, a military representative said on Saturday, six days after suicide planes killed in excess of 250 individuals.

The shootout among troops and suspected aggressors ejected on Friday evening in Sainthamaruthu in Ampara, toward the south of the town of Batticaloa, site of one of the Easter Sunday impacts at three chapels and four lavish lodgings.

A police representative said that three speculated suicide bombers were among the 15 dead after the shoot out.

Military representative Sumith Atapattu said in an explanation that as troops headed towards the protected house three blasts were activated and gunfire started.

According to Sri-Lankan Intelligence, there is a possibility of more attacks in the country.
